You do not need a gym membership. You need one push-up. Kaizen teaches: (1) start so small it feels ridiculous — one push-up, one walk around the block, one flight of stairs instead of the lift, (2) add one percent when the current step feels effortless — two push-ups next week, three the week after, and (3) never skip twice — miss a day, that is fine. Miss two, and the habit is in danger. The compound effect of tiny daily effort is your entire fitness strategy.
