You cannot fix your sleep in one night. Kaizen teaches: (1) go to bed five minutes earlier tonight — not an hour, five minutes, and move it five minutes earlier each week, (2) improve one thing about your sleep environment — darker curtains, a cooler room, the phone charging in another room, and (3) don't try to be perfect — one bad night does not ruin a trend. Tomorrow is another opportunity to sleep slightly better.
