Every career has seasons. Mono no aware teaches: (1) honour the role you are leaving — what did you build? what did you learn? what part of yourself did you discover there?, (2) let the ending be clean — don't burn bridges, don't leave in bitterness, don't pretend you didn't care, and (3) trust what comes next — you do not need to know where you are going. You only need to acknowledge that where you were has ended, and that endings are not failures.
