Omotenashi teaches: (1) research the interviewer, not just the company — anticipate their concerns and address them before they ask, (2) prepare so thoroughly that the conversation feels natural, not rehearsed — the highest skill is the one that conceals itself, and (3) follow up with care — the thank-you note that references something specific from the conversation is omotenashi in written form.
