Social media promises permanence — every photo preserved, every moment recorded. Mono no aware teaches: (1) not everything needs to be documented — some moments are meant to be experienced, not captured, (2) the feed is a highlight reel, not a life — the most beautiful parts of your life are probably the ones you never thought to photograph, and (3) let old posts go — your online self from five years ago is not who you are now, and that is not a problem.
