Omotenashi does not require extroversion. The introvert's omotenashi is preparation and environment — arranging spaces and systems so that others can thrive without being directly attended to. The meeting room prepared before anyone arrives. The document sent in advance. The quiet follow-up email. You do not need to be warm and effusive to practise omotenashi. You need to be attentive.
